While her representative stated no payments were received for these posts, the timing raised eyebrows.
Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, has become a prominent supporter of Donald Trump, who recently tapped Musk to co-lead a new government efficiency initiative alongside Vivek Ramaswamy. These connections fueled rumors that Kardashian’s posts signaled political alignment, especially since she has been seen socializing with Ivanka Trump.
The speculation dates back to Kardashian's 2023 birthday party, where a photo showed her alongside Ivanka Trump and Lauren Sánchez, Jeff Bezos’ partner. Ivanka, once a staple of elite social events, faced exclusion from liberal circles after her father’s presidency.
