- Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield is designed for anyone experiencing UTIs or recurrent UTIs, those who develop UTIs after sexual activity, individuals experiencing UTIs due to birth control, perimenopause, limited mobility. Men who experience UTIs can also benefit from this perfect purple pill.
What if I currently have a UTI?
- Urinary tract infections require antibiotics and you should contact your doctor immediately if you have symptoms of a UTI. Good Kitty's UTI Biome Shield is a prevention supplement and is not intended for treatment of urinary tract infection.
Can I take Good Kitty with antibiotics?
- Yes, you can take Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield, even if you are on antibiotics (unless otherwise instructed by your doctor). We recommend getting started right away!
- Keep in mind, Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield is not a treatment. We always recommend checking with your doctor about any questions or concerns about your specific antibiotics/medications.
Do I take Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield instead of an antibiotic?
- If you have a diagnosed UTI, you will require antibiotic treatment. However, Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield can be safely taken alongside your prescribed antibiotics for additional bacterial defense and to support the microbiome, and then continued daily for ongoing urinary health maintenance.
Do I need a prescription to take Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield?
- No. Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield contains 38mg of medical-grade proanthocyanidins (PACs) - the highest potency and bioavailability available. While formulated by urologists, it's classified as a dietary supplement in the USA and is available over-the-counter.
Can I take Good Kitty with medication?
- Consult your physician before use if pregnant or nursing.
- We also always recommend checking with your doctor about any questions or concerns about your specific medications.
Can I take Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield if I am on blood thinners?
- Important: If you take Coumadin (Warfarin) or other non-vitamin K blood thinners, consult your healthcare provider before using Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield. While virtually all vitamin K is removed from our formula, we recommend professional medical guidance since even small amounts may affect blood thinner effectiveness.

- The ingredients used in Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield dietary supplement are safe to consume with minimum side effects. There is some anecdotal evidence on the internet that high doses of d-mannose, an ingredient in Good Kitty may cause bloating or loose stool.
- There are 1000mg in 2 capsules of Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield. We recommend following the suggested use of our products. However, we always recommend checking with your doctor about any specific questions or concerns.
- If you have a sensitive stomach, we recommend taking Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield with food for better digestion.

Our process uses chromatography to remove most (if not all) sugars, acids, vitamins, and minerals. That said, those with an allergy to aspirin should use caution if taking UTI Biome Shield.

- It is about the same as a cup of coffee. To put it into numbers, the pH of water is 7, cranberry juice is a much more acidic at 2.7, and the pH of Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield is about halfway between the two, at 4.44. If you are sensitive to more acidic foods, consider adding an over-the-counter acid neutralizer.
Will Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield give me kidney stones?
- During our proprietary extraction of PACs (proanthocyanidins), we remove about 90% of oxalates - the compounds in cranberries linked to kidney stones. Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield contains just 0.15 mg of oxalates per capsule, about one-tenth of what's found in typical cranberry products.
- Please note that oxalates are naturally occurring in a lot of foods including nuts, cereals, fruits, and vegetables, and a high dose is considered to be greater than 10 mg per serving. Foods that are less than 2 mg per serving are considered to be low dose.
What if I have interstitial cystitis (IC)?
- Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield supports urinary health and can help with UTIs that occur due to IC (Interstitial Cystitis), though it's not a treatment for IC itself. The product has an acidity level similar to coffee or cola - if you're sensitive to acid, you can take it with an acid reducer. Please consult your healthcare provider for appropriate IC treatment.
What happens if I do everything right and I still get a UTI?
- Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield is extremely effective at preventing recurrent UTIs caused by E. coli, the bacteria responsible for the vast majority of UTIs, and particularly those occurring in sexually active women without chronic illness or other comorbid conditions. Other more rare bacterial causes, potential user error, or extreme dehydration could result in a breakthrough infection. That said, do not give up. Get on antibiotics, and start rebuilding your beautiful vaginal health again.
Why should I take Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield vs other cranberry supplements?
- Just because a UTI supplement says it has 36 mg of PACs on the label doesn’t mean it contains soluble bioavailable PACs. Our cranberry extract is enriched in soluble PACs plus the complete profile of prebiotic anti-oxidant polyphenols found in whole fruit. This best in class cranberry extract works synergistically with d-mannose as a bacteria blocker and prebiotic. Micronutrients vitamin D & zinc round out this multitargeted prevention approach, healing the urogenital lining and balancing the biome for overall lasting urinary health.

customer reviews
"UTI Biome Shield represents a significant advancement in urinary tract health. For patients seeking evidence-based, non-antibiotic approaches to UTI prevention, this is the most advanced solution I've encountered in clinical practice."
"Only bioavailable PACs prevent UTIs. Most cranberry supplements don't contain enough of the active compound to prevent UTIs. Good Kitty has the highest and combines it with d-mannose which is setting a new standard in UTI prevention."
"Your gut remains stubbornly colonized with these bad bladder bugs and only bioavailable cranberry products appear to reduce the recurrence of bladder infections by about 35%. Not as effective as antibiotics, but cranberries don’t foster antibiotic resistance, and have fewer side effects."
"At Tia Health, we provide affirming primary care for women, including gynecological services, primary care, procedures, and holistic care. We offer online treatment for UTIs, including diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and prescription management. UTI Biome Shield is an easy prevention solution for our patients."
