Read all reviewsDuring perimenopause, I got stuck in a UTI spiral. I was having 6+ UTIs a year for multiple years. I tried antibiotics, every supplement I could get my hands on, hormone replacement, vaginal estrogen… I've been taking Good Kitty for several months and NO UTIs!
I had recurrent UTIs last year… Unfortunately, the UTIs returned a few months ago. After some research, I found this Good Kitty UTI Biome Shield and decided to give it a try. I am happy to report I have been UTI and discomfort free since starting.
On my 2nd order and so far so good! I feel like it's actually working. No UTI in a month.

Cranberry for UTIs: common questions
how it works
3 easy steps to stop a UTI before it starts
UTI Biome Shield® is a targeted blend of clinically studied ingredients that block, flush and rebalance, addressing UTIs at the source.
Block Bad Bacteria
38mg of 100% soluble cranberry PACs bind and block P-type and Type 1 fimbriae.
Instant Flush
D-mannose is excreted in as little as 30 minutes, flushing bacteria for rapid clearance.
Bladder Defense System
Microbiome imbalance and biofilms are key drivers of recurrent UTIs. Prebiotic and immune support trio that breaks down biofilm, strengthens bladder tissue, calms inflammation and feeds beneficial bacteria.
How UTI Biome Shield® works
UTI Biome Shield® prevents E.coli from attaching.
WHY GOOD KITTY
Recurrent UTIs need more than a one-step solution.
Most UTI supplements target a single mechanism. UTI Biome Shield® takes a multi-pathway approach to recurrent UTI prevention, supporting bacterial defense, biofilm disruption, and urinary tract health.

HERO INGREDIENTS
Five medical grade actives, clinically dosed.
Complimentary bioactive target multiple pathways for complete UTI protectection, in one daily capsule.
WHY GOOD KITTY IS DIFFERENT
Most UTI supplements look similar on the shelf. They are not built the same.
Soluble PACs, not whole-fruit powder.
The active compounds in cranberry are proanthocyanidins (PACs), and only the soluble A-type form blocks bacteria from sticking to the bladder wall. UTI Biome Shield delivers 38mg of DMAC-verified A-type PACs, above the 36mg studied for anti-adhesion. Most cranberry pills use whole-fruit powder with only a fraction of the active PACs.
Read more Show less
Most cranberry supplements are made from whole-fruit or juice powder, which delivers only a small amount of usable PACs. A 500mg capsule of fruit powder can contain just a few milligrams, well below the amount studied for anti-adhesion. Because PAC content is also hard to verify, ours is DMAC-tested, the standardized method that specifically measures A-type PACs, so the dose on the label is the dose in the capsule. Two products listing the same milligrams of cranberry can deliver very different amounts of what actually works.
Block and flush, not one or the other.
PACs and D-mannose do two different jobs, and recurrent UTIs need both. Cranberry PACs block bacteria at two receptor sites, the durable daily defense. D-mannose binds bacteria at a single site and flushes them out fast, then clears your system just as quickly. That quick, heavy flush is why you take extra at trigger moments, when bacteria spike. UTI Biome Shield combines both at meaningful doses: 38mg soluble PACs and 500mg D-mannose.
Built for the whole problem, not just the bladder.
Recurrence comes from what most formulas ignore. Bacteria hide inside biofilm, the gut acts as a reservoir that reseeds infection, and irritated bladder tissue stays vulnerable. Vitamin D3, zinc, and polyphenols address the stages cranberry and D-mannose can't reach, so protection holds over time.

Cranberry PACs attach to both the P-type and Type 1 fimbriae that bacteria use to grip the bladder wall, giving broad, ongoing anti-adhesion with daily use. D-mannose works on a single receptor and acts more like a rapid flush: it binds a large volume of bacteria and carries them out quickly, but it also leaves the body fast. That's why a single daily dose covers everyday defense, while a higher dose before a known trigger delivers a fast, heavy flush right when bacterial load surges. The two work together: PACs hold the line daily, D-mannose flushes the spikes.

Anti-adhesion is the first step, but it isn't the whole story. Biofilms shelter bacteria from being cleared, which is why infections return. The gut microbiome can hold uropathogenic bacteria that migrate and re-colonize. And a weakened bladder lining is more vulnerable to the next infection. Polyphenols help break down biofilm and feed beneficial bacteria, zinc supports the immune response that clears bacteria, and Vitamin D3 helps strengthen the bladder wall. Together they support a more resilient urinary environment over time, the part one-mechanism supplements leave unaddressed.

UTI Biome Shield® FAQs
UTI Biome Shield® is designed for anyone who experiences recurrent UTIs or wants to proactively support their urinary tract health. Take one capsule a day with water. On days you have sex, take two more capsules 30 to 60 minutes before, then drink a glass of water and pee afterward.
To maintain a healthy urinary tract: Take 1 capsule daily with water about the same time every day. For known triggers (such as travel, stress, lack of hydration, or inability to visit the bathroom ) or if you have early warning signs, take 2 capsules daily as needed, then return to one daily.UTIs from sex: Because sex often results in bacteria in the urethra, take 2 additional capsules of UTI Biome Shield® 30-60 minutes before sex. Remember: UTI Biome Shield® won’t treat or cure a UTI, but it can help maintain a healthy urinary tract to avoid future UTIs. If your doctor confirms an active UTI, take UTI Biome Shield® daily with your antibiotic to help your body flush out the bacteria.
UTI Biome Shield® refill packet contains 60 capsules. This could last you anywhere between 30-60 days, depending on how often you're getting lucky.
If you currently have a UTI, please consult with your healthcare provider for appropriate treatment. UTI Biome Shield® is designed for prevention and maintenance.
If you have a confirmed urinary tract infection, it will likely require antibiotic treatment. You can take UTI Biome Shield® with your antibiotic as extra support against UTI-causing bacteria until the infection clears, and then continue taking UTI Biome Shield® once daily to maintain a healthy urinary tract. We recommend taking UTI Biome Shield® two hours before or after your antibiotic dosing. Please note: Taking antibiotics every day may not be the best plan for UTI prevention. Harmful bacteria become resistant to antibiotics, and they also have many unwanted side effects—like stomach upset, allergic reactions, or yeast infections.Yes, UTI Biome Shield® can be taken alongside antibiotics. In fact, it may help support your microbiome during and after antibiotic treatment.
No, UTI Biome Shield® is a dietary supplement and does not require a prescription.
While UTI Biome Shield® significantly reduces the risk of UTIs, it's not a guarantee. If you do get a UTI, consult your healthcare provider.
UTI Biome Shield® is a doctor-formulated, patent-pending, urinary health supplement with clinically proven 38 mg PAC, sourced only from pure cranberry juice extract; not skins or stems like most other cranberry supplements. 100% soluble, medical-grade PAC delivers maximum bacteria-blocking power and the highest PAC concentration available (30% vs. just 1%–18% in others). It also contains additional clinically-studied ingredients that work through multiple mechanisms, not just the single pathway that cranberry targets.
Most people begin to notice benefits within 2-4 weeks of consistent daily use.We recommend 3-6 months of consistent use to see results.
UTI Biome Shield® is generally well-tolerated. Some people may experience mild digestive changes as their microbiome adjusts.
During menopause, lower estrogen levels can thin the urinary tract lining and alter vaginal pH, making it easier for UTI-causing bacteria to grow and stick, increasing your risk for infection. While vaginal estrogen is a first-line therapy for recurrent UTIs caused by hormonal shifts, UTI Biome Shield® is a great clinically proven addition to help maintain good postmenopausal urinary health.
While UTI Biome Shield® is designed to support urinary tract health and is not a treatment for IC, if you are getting UTIs as a result of IC, then UTI Biome Shield® can help. UTI Biome Shield® has about the same acidity as a cup of coffee or cola. If that amount would bother you, you can take UTI Biome Shield® along with an acid reducer, such as an effective and inexpensive product called Prelief. However, please be sure to talk to your doctor for proper IC treatment.
Yes! You can safely take UTI supplements like UTI Biome Shield® with probiotics for added urinary tract support. Many healthcare professionals recommend pairing UTI Biome Shield® with a good probiotic that supports the gut, urinary tract, and vaginal microbiomes—a key tool in maintaining overall pelvic health.
